Please avoid light colors such as white, gray and cream . The passport office requires that there be sufficient contrast between you and the white background. In addition, head coverings except those worn for religious reasons are not allowed. No hats, ball caps or sunglasses . Please also avoid large and reflective jewelry and earrings. Glasses may be worn as long as the eyes are clearly visible and there is no glare. We recommend removing your glasses to improve the chance of your photo’s approval.
